SSL / Quick action lock up bar, to block mounted plates and composition on machine bed.

Carpe Plumbum is a workshop for letterpress and relief printing, located in the “Spinnerei” in Leipzig – a former Cotton factory that now hosts artists, designers and galleries. In the workshop hundreds of typecases and several presses (from 3 FAG proof presses to the 70x100cm “Präsident” Cylinder press) offer varied possibilities for printwork. I work together with artists and designers, printing cards and small editions, as well as larger editions such as posters and books; for example all the original graphic LUBOK books are printed here.
