Martin Thönen is a skilled typesetter. He did his education at «Schule für Gestaltung» in Bern, Vevey, Geneva and Essen. He graduated at «Technikerschule für die Druckindustrie» in Bern. Since 1965 he is working with woodcuts on his own printing presses.
